It's like a secret.

I love the feeling you get after an interview. That ultimate rush of relief, draining away the superficial positive front created to over-enlarge a personality you believe you possess.

It sounds freakishly narcississtic.

Truthfully, I believe there is a system or a continuum that exists between you and the employer. You, commercializing yourself, to be displayed and examined, while proving competence. They, portray themselves with curiosity, superiority and hidden desperation.

And even when the employer questions out for your weaknesses, it comes off positive, somehow. It is like that with a random stranger too, isn't it? Both parties eager to decipher the other, but unwilling to really reveal their individual dark side.

A forced relationship. It is imposed by circumstances and environment.
Well not really a relationship, because it is temporary...
