On the bus today, I sat beside an old lady who shared with me pieces of her life. Of trips she'd gone when she was my age, that evolved into the people had she lost to death, and loneliness she'd succumbed into. She shared photographs of memories to my mind, with every word she said making me sink a little inside.
Before she left, she smiled and wished me, "have a good day!"
I didn't say much, just listened.
Part of me wished I'd said or done more.
