We're all on the way to becoming who we're supposed to be
Like the cloud that tears into pieces then finds itself patched into different forms.
Clouds are like us. Or we are like clouds, rather.

Expressway
Miles after miles
Wheels smoothing burnt black tar
Where the trees part, creating a window for my gaze
I peaked at the mountains in the distance
And at the curvaceous silhouettes
While the luscious green swayed to the tune of the breeze
Left my window an inch ajar
Freeing the wind, permitting them to kiss my cheek
Only to find the searing heat, slapping.

In summer darkness
Pillow underneath my head, as I stared at the shadows. I watched the warm mid-summer breeze silently sing, causing my curtains to swirl in a slow dance. I counted 32 seconds, and hear a car pass by busy Bronson Avenue. But my mind croons away, come away with me.
Then calmness sweeps.
Then calmness sweeps.

Pendulum
Life's pendulum keeps swinging and swirling.
Even when hearts stop beating, it continues to swing
& I am not writing of time.
Even when hearts stop beating, it continues to swing
& I am not writing of time.
Life
As I write this letter, seconds will pass.
Then minutes will fly...
Someone is born, and someone dies
A heart is broken, a tear is shed
Someone is sitting in a subway tunnel prophesying his fate
Someone just worked the courage to have three words said
Someone is laughing,
Another is singing
Somewhere else, someone is silenced
Someone else is seeking for a voice, stolen
As I write this, someone is awake
While somewhere else, someone falls to bed
Someone has found something he's been searching for a while,
Someone else just gave up his search to life
As I write this letter, a memory is being made
Someone is trying her hardest to forget,
Another will cease to have memories remain.
Our lives are built on seconds...
Someone, somewhere, somebody-
Anybody.
Us.

City that never sleeps
Roaming the busy Times Square, in a sea of bodies shielded in anonymity. I realized how intricately chaotic we all are.
To be surrounded by a mass, yet to be alone.
I think I would prefer to be surrounded by a vast of nothingness, yet feel loved.
To be surrounded by a mass, yet to be alone.
